At the same time, a request for substantive examination shall also be submitted; 3. Within 7 years from the date of filing the application for an invention patent, a request for substantive examination of the examination report shall be made by the designated entity (the State Intellectual Property Office is the designated entity) by filling in the "Application for Other Acts" to the Economic Bureau.
