Iraq is a member of the Paris Convention, the Provisional Authority of the Union for Patents issued Order No. 81 of 26 April 2004 amending the Patents Act No. 65 of 1970. If the patent has not been used for 2 years after the grant, the official can be forced to grant others to use.
