The preliminary examination report will be issued within 60 days of the preliminary examination, and the patent applicant has 30 days to appeal the report and submit supplementary materials.

Since 2018, the Bahrain Industrial Property Office has conducted a substantive examination of the patent application and finally issued a final audit report. Patent applications that pass the trial will eventually issue a patent certificate.
