1. Apply to the European Union Patent and Trademark Office for the registration of a Community design.

2. Apply to DKPTO for registration of a Danish design.

2. Review Form

DKPTO will not actively review the novelty and personality characteristics of the design in the application, the applicant may request DKPTO to conduct a search. DKPTO will conduct a search of existing Danish registered designs and pending design applications, including Danish registered designs that have been revoked in the five years prior to the date of application. The additional search is only a report provided to the applicant and cannot be used as a basis for rejecting the registration. The applicant may also request DKPTO to postpone the registration of the design until six months after the date of application.

1. Request: including the name of the patent, the name of the designer, the name, name and address of the applicant, etc;

2. Design pictures or photos: at least two sets of pictures or photos (front view, back view, top view, bottom view, left view, right view, and if necessary, provide perspective view);

3. Brief description of the design: A brief description of the design shall be submitted when necessary.
