2. Review Form

includes both formal and substantive review. After the patent application is submitted, PRV initiates a preliminary investigation aimed at reviewing whether the submitted documents correspond to the contents of the application and confirms that the minimum requirements for further examination are met. If there is any correction, the reply must be submitted within 2 months from the date of publication. The substantive review does not need to be submitted for initiation and can be reviewed automatically. After the formal examination and substantive examination procedures, if the examiner considers that the conditions for authorization are met, the patent right will be granted by the official, and the authorization fee for the invention patent shall be paid within 2 months after receiving the official notice.
