2. Review Form

RVO (Dutch Patent Office) conducts a formal examination of patent application documents. Dutch patent applications can be granted without substantive examination. The patent applicant must submit a novelty search request within 13 months from the filing date, and the search report will be received within 9 months after the request. If the patent application has been published at this time, the search report will also be published; according to the results of the search report, the applicant has 2 months to modify or submit a division; the search report contains a written opinion (written opinion).
